Jake, You are an impressive kid already. The nurse says you've got a good baseline and great acceleration.
Your mom explained to me that this means that your heartrate is doing exactly what the nurses want it to do: accelerating above baseline in the correct way.
They also put your mom on IV, took her history, and made her choose her max pain threahold using this chart that cracked us up for some reason.
