Jacob,
Welcome home!
We've gotten you all checked out from the hospital and now we're at home. As I write you are snuggling with your mom while we eat pizza and watch "run away jury"
When we first got home you spent some time sunbathing to combat the jaundice.
We introduced you to Rigli and Chase too. They were very curios and had give you a very thorough sniffing. As I type this, Chase is standing guard over you as you nurse. Every time you cry, which is not often at all, both puppies cock their heads to the side and regard you with deeply curious eyes. Chase whines to match your cries. They seem to have accepted your presence without question.
Your mommy hasn't gotten much sleep in the last few days so I'm going to go convince her to take a nap.
Later dude,
Dad
He is a precious baby boy! So beautiful and so sweet.
ReplyDeleteAnd, Chase is being a good guard dog in the photo (just hope he doesn't get upset by crying like Chuy did -- remember how he threw up every time Alexis cried?)
Hopefully he won't always whine when Jacob whines, that could get annoying in the months/years to come. I'm glad it went well!
ReplyDeleteWriting from Laura's computer. Laura has headed to Moab to canoe the Green River so I will have to write for both of us. She faithfully followed the blow until her departure. We both think Jacob is absolutely wonderful! He looks so tiny in Ginger's arms in front of hs brother Chase.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work and enjoy a few days of R&R with your baby boy!

After thinking Jake looked just like Ben, now I've decided he looks just like Ginger! More pix please!
