While your mom rests, I've been reading about your birthdate in wikipedia.

39 years ago today the Apollo 11 spacecraft took off for the moon.

Less auspiciously, the worlds first parking meter also shares your birthday.

Will Farrel celebrates with you, as did Shoeless Joe Jackson.

Drugs!

Jacob,
Drugs are bad. Don't do drugs. But when you're in labor, drugs are the best things ever.

Your mom went from the worst pain she has ever experienced to zero pain. She says it was the best decision she's ever made to get an epidural.

Funny side effect: she is itchy now like dave chappel's crack addict character.

Oh also they wouldn't let me watch while standing because too many dads pass out and hit their heads.
